Request a Home visit

Home environment is not always the best place to conduct a consultation, examination or to arrange appropriate tests. It is therefore advisable to limit requests for home visits to those seriously ill house bound patients who cannot possibly attend surgery.

Arranging a Home visit by telephone or in person

If you think a home visit is necessary please inform the surgery before 11.00am. This will give adequate time for the doctors to plan their visits. Naturally, it will be the doctors' decision over need and priorities, so it would be very helpful to let us know the reason for the home visit. Please ensure you give the receptionist the exact address of the patient and a contact telephone number.
